Thing #5

If you can count on one hand your true and real friends than you are richer than you can ever know. To be able to surround yourself with people you can love, trust, and understand is better than anything you can ever buy.

Thing #4

My coffee table will never be clean for more than an hour. I don’t know if this is a worldwide phenomenon or something that happens to just me. It’s like a magnet for crap that has no other place to go. I think eventually this will kill me.

Thing #3

You can never have enough shoes or purses. I know men do not understand this at all. But when you see the most perfect pair of shoes in a store you have to buy them. Which also gives you the excuse to buy a purse. Accessorizing is half the battle! So it doesn’t matter if you already have 50 pairs of shoes. The 51st pair can be magic.

Thing #2

That having a best friend is like having a parachute. You can fight all day, laugh all night, or sit around and say nothing at all. But knowing they are never going to let you fall to the ground is an amazing feeling. And it will restore you faith in all humans.

Thing #1

Your first kiss will give you butterflies in your stomach. And it will make you smile for 2 straight weeks. Because it came while leaning on a sky blue ’67 Ford Mustang convertible. You will forget the clumsiness of it. But you will always remember because it will seem like the most perfect thing that has ever happened to you.

Me

So, I've decided to do this blogging thing on a more regular basis and somewhere other than MySpace. I'll tell you a little about me before I start with my random thoughts and views.

My name is Monica and I am 35. (I almost felt that "I'm an alcoholic" should have followed the first part of that sentence.) I am married to a pretty cool guy and we live in a quaint little town in New Jersey. No kids, just cats but that doesn't bother me. I change my career more than most people do. I think I have hit 17 different professions so far. What can I say? I like trying new things. There is really nothing extraordinary about me. I'm just an average person that has a lot of random things that run around in my brain all day. Mostly funny stuff. Although, I do have a tendancy to get serious about certain subjects. But that's for another time. I look forward to your thoughts and opinions on whatever subjects I write about. I hope this will bring about really great conversations so that I can get to know anyone who stumbles upon this. I hope you all enjoy reading it just as much as I will enjoy writing it.

Love and lollipops!
